Founder and CEO of Open Cosmos Rafel Jordá Siquier said: “SGAC is the leading international organisation of young space professionals, supporting the United Nations Programme on Space Applications. This program aims to use space resources to solve the world’s biggest challenges, which is fully in line with the vision of Open Cosmos. Open Cosmos is a young international company, employing many young space professionals from all over the world, making SGAC a natural partner in areas like awareness, job sharing and education.”

SGAC Co-Chair Arnau Pons added: “This MoU with OpenCosmos is strategic as it proves SGAC’s commitment towards helping young entrepreneurs that are shaping the international space industry. We are glad that we can closely work with OpenCosmos to solve some of the main challenges of the word to make it more sustainable. This is also in line with our current collaboration with UNOOSA towards “Youth 2030 strategy” to power the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).”
